SAN BRUNO, Calif. – West Coast Conference Commissioner Stu Jackson has announced the promotion of Kacy Irwin to Senior Associate Commissioner/Chief Financial Officer.
 
Irwin has served on the West Coast Conference’s senior staff as an associate commissioner and CFO since joining the conference office in July of 2023. Her elevation to senior associate commissioner is effective immediately.  
 
“Kacy has demonstrated exceptional leadership in several vital areas for the conference,” Jackson said. “She has implemented valuable enhancements to our operations, including business strategies that allow us to meet our goals more efficiently and processes that have created a more enriching human resources experience. Her leadership during our office relocation enabled the conference to operate without interruption during the transition. This promotion is a testament to Kacy’s hard work, excellent management, and valuable contributions to the conference.”
 
Irwin oversees the West Coast Conference’s business operations and financial strategy, while also managing the human resources area. She has spearheaded improvements in financial operations and new human resources initiatives, in addition to successfully managing the conference’s relocation to new headquarters in San Bruno, California.
 
She also serves as the conference’s sport administrator for softball and leads the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee, as well as the conference’s business managers group. She served as the administrator for beach volleyball during her first two years with the conference office.
 
Irwin has nearly two decades of experience in collegiate athletics, including leadership roles at the University of California, Berkeley, and Columbia University.
