Bracket Announced For 2026 Credit Union 1 West Coast Conference Men's Basketball Championship

Gonzaga will be the No. 1 seed

SAN BRUNO, CALIF. – Gonzaga and Saint Mary's earned the top two seeds in the 2026 Credit Union 1 West Coast Conference Men's Basketball Championship as the Conference announced the full men's bracket on Sunday.

The tournament will be held from March 5-10 at Orleans Arena in Las Vegas. Click here for ticket packages to the event.

Gonzaga (28-3, 16-2) will enter the championship as the No. 1 seed after having won a share of the West Coast Conference regular season championship. Saint Mary's (27-4, 16-2) will be the No. 2 seed after clinching at least a share of the West Coast Conference regular season championship for the fourth year in a row. Gonzaga earned the top seed through the conference's tiebreaker process of winning both matchups against Santa Clara, while the Gaels split the season series with the Broncos.

Santa Clara (24-7, 15-3) heads to Las Vegas as the No. 3 seed with Oregon State (16-15, 9-9) next as the No. 4 seed. The Broncos enter the conference tournament after capturing a program-record 15 conference wins and the 24 overall wins are tied for the third most in program history.

Pacific, San Francisco and Seattle U are tied for fifth place in the standings with an 8-10 league record. Conference tiebreaker policies involving three or more teams place the teams in a pod comparing head-to-head results. The team with the best record, as determined by winning percentage even if unequal games in the conference’s unbalanced schedule, is seeded the highest and the team with the worst record is seeded the lowest. In the pod, San Francisco is 3-0 (1.000), Pacific is 1-2 (.333) and Seattle U is 0-2 (.000) against the others. San Francisco is the No. 5 seed, Pacific is the No. 6 seed and Seattle U is the No. 7 seed.

Washington State (12-19, 7-11) is the No. 8 seed. Thursday's first round matchups will see No. 9 seed Portland (13-18, 6-12) vs. No. 12 seed Pepperdine (9-22, 4-14) and No. 10 seed LMU (15-16, 6-12) vs. No. 11 seed San Diego (11-20, 5-13). LMU and Portland also tied in the final conference standings with a record of 6-12, but Portland earned the higher seed after defeating LMU in the regular season.

The first three rounds of the men’s tournament and the first five rounds of the women’s tournament will be broadcast on ESPN+. ESPN2 and ESPN will televise the quarterfinals and semifinals of the men’s tournament, and the championship games of both the men’s and women’s tournaments.
