SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Saint Mary's varsity eight garnered West Coast Conference Crew of the Week honors after winning both races the crew competed in last weekend, the conference announced on Tuesday. 

WEST COAST CONFERENCE CREW OF THE WEEK – SAINT MARY'S VARSITY EIGHT
Saint Mary's varsity eight finished first in both races the boat competed in at the Hornet Invitational, capping a nine race win day for the Gaels. The Saint Mary's crew bested both UC San Diego and Kansas State, collecting the win by the Tritons by 15.2 seconds in the morning race and then defeating the Wildcats by 16.1 seconds. This is the first conference recognition for Saint Mary's this season.
