AVCA Announces 2026 Beach Volleyball All-America Honorees

Lions garner two first-team All Americans

 SAN BRUNO, Calif. – West Coast Conference Beach Volleyball Champion LMU earned two First Team AVCA All-America honors, as announced on Thursday morning by the organization. The Lions’ Anna Pelloia and Tanon Rosenthal were two of 16 student-athletes from across the nation to garner first-team honors. 
 
Pelloia and Rosenthal also collected West Coast Conference Pair of the Year recognition on Monday. The two were paired for a majority of the season together on the first court and went 17-6, which includes match victories against top-ranked opponents - No. 11 GCU twice, No. 5 USC twice, No. 12 LSU, No. 13 Arizona State, No. 10 Long Beach State twice, No. 14 Stetson and No. 2 Texas. 
 
Pelloia was 22-12 on the season overall, while Rosenthal was 18-6 on the year. The two earned West Coast Conference First-Team recognition as well. 
 
The two will help No. 7 LMU try and make it back to the NC Beach Volleyball National Championship match this weekend, first in a rematch against last year’s national champions, No. 10 TCU Friday at 12:00 p.m. PT. All information on the event can be found here
