SAN BRUNO, Calif. – West Coast Conference Commissioner Stu Jackson provided the following statement on the Protect College Sports Act of 2026:
 
“Student-athletes deserve a system that protects opportunities, promotes fairness, and preserves the values that make college athletics a meaningful experience for all. We support efforts that protect the well-being of student-athletes, establish consistent and enforceable standards and ensure institutions can continue to provide competitive experiences, educational pathways, and sustainable opportunities for all sports, particularly Olympic sports. We look forward to being part of the solution.”
