SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Lizzy Crawford of Pepperdine earned the first West Coast Conference Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week award of the 2026 season.
 
WEST COAST CONFERENCE WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER OF THE WEEK – LIZZY CRAWFORD, SR.  – PEPPERDINE
Lizzy Crawford – a member of the 2026 Women’s Cross Country All-Preseason Team – won the Waves Invitational by over 24 seconds with a time of 13:17.2 in the 4K to give the Pepperdine senior back-to-back victories in the event. The race featured 43 total runners from schools including USC, Cal Lutheran and Cal State Bakersfield.
