COMMISSIONER MICHAEL GILLERAN
Michael Gilleran, the league's first full-time commissioner, assumed his leadership role in 1984. A native of Seattle, Wash., who played college basketball at Seattle University, Gilleran holds a Law degree from the University of Puget Sound. After a stint of playing pro ball in France, he served as an enforcement representative at the NCAA before taking over the WCC leadership. (mgilleran@westcoast.org)

Assistant Commissioner BRAD WALKER
Brad Walker enters his fifth year at the West Coast Conference. Walker joined the WCC in June 2000, filling a newly created post as the Director of Communications. He was promoted to Assistant Commissioner in October 2001. After four years spearheading the WCC's media relations efforts, Walker is now responsible for league marketing and also manages the WCC's television package. In addition to marketing and television, Walker's duties include scheduling for the league's six round-robin sports and also serving as the liaison to the WCC volleyball coaches. Walker came to the WCC from the Mid-Continent Conference. Prior to his stint at the Mid-Con, he served as the sports information intern at Holy Cross College. The Milwaukee, Wisc., native graduated from Bentley College (Waltham, Mass.), where he was a member of the basketball team.(bwalker@westcoast.org)

Assistant Commissioner / SWA GLORIA NEVAREZ
Gloria Nevarez began her tenure at the WCC in January 2002. Nevarez will direct the WCC's compliance efforts and legal affairs. In addition to her compliance duties, Nevarez serves as the contact for the women's basketball, baseball and soccer coaches. She also coordinates the league's baseball umpiring program. Previously, Nevarez held the position of Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance and Legal Affairs at the University of California, Berkeley, where she managed the compliance efforts for all 29 varsity intercollegiate sports for the past three years. Nevarez has a law degree from Boalt Hall school of law from the University of California and is a graduate of the NCAA Fellows Program. Nevarez is in her second year as an adjunct faculty member for the USF Sport Management masters program where she teaches Sport Law. Nevarez received her undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts, where she played on the women's basketball team. She currently serves on the University of Massachusetts Sport Management department alumni board. (gnevarez@westcoast.org)

Assistant Commissioner KIM ROGOWSKI
Kim Rogowski was added to the WCC staff in October 2001 as the Director of Championships, and then promoted to Assistant Commissioner in June 2003. Rogowski serves as the director of all conference championships, including the WCC Basketball Tournament and is the league contact for several coaches groups. Rogowski's duties also include overseeing the WCC's awards committee, the student-athlete advisory committee, and WCC merchandising. Rogowski is a 1998 graduate of Duke University, where she was a four-year member of the varsity track team and a two-year member of the ACC All-Academic team. She also holds a master's degree in Sports and Fitness Management from the University of San Francisco. Coordinator of Men's Basketball Officiating JACK DITTY
Jack Ditty, who spent 27 years as an active official, joined the conference staff to oversee men's basketball officiating in 1998. He was the first official representing the WCC to work in the NCAA Final Four.

Coordinator of Women's Basketball Officiating DANA SENDERS
Dana Senders made six appearances in the NCAA tournament in eight years as part of her 25 years of officiating experience and joined the WCC to guide the women's basketball officials program in 1997.

Director of Women's Volleyball Officiating KAREN GEE
Karen Gee serves double duty as the director of volleyball officiating for the WCC and as a Vice President for the officiating division of USA Volleyball.

Coordinator of Baseball Umpires TOM HILER
Tom Hiler enters his second year as the coordinator of baseball umpires.

Championships and Marketing Assistant CHRISTINE HALSEY
A 1998 graduate of Vanderbilt University, Christine Halsey joins the WCC as a Championships and Marketing Assistant. While earning a BA in communications at Vanderbilt, Halsey was a four-year letterwinner for the Commodores' cross country and track and field teams. Halsey?s main responsibilities include assisting in the conference's marketing efforts and helping to facilitate the six WCC championships. In addition to her championships and marketing duties, Halsey also assists in coordinating officials for baseball and women's basketball. Halsey is currently pursuing a master's degree in Sports Management from the University of San Francisco. (chalsey@westcoast.org)

Championships and Marketing Assistant BEN WHITE
Ben White joined the WCC as a Championships and Marketing Assistant in June of 2003. White completed his undergraduate work at Washington State University in 1998, earning a BA in communications. White received a master's degree in Athletic Administration from Indiana University in 1999, and earned a law degree from Gonzaga University in 2003. White?s main responsibilities include assisting in the conference's marketing efforts and helping to facilitate the six WCC championships. In addition to his championships and marketing duties, White also assists in coordinating officials for volleyball and men?s basketball. (bwhite@westcoast.org)

Communications Assistant MARK OSHIDARI
Mark Oshidari joined the West Coast Conference as a Communications Assistant in Octoober 2003. Oshidari is a 2001 graduate of UC Davis, earning a BA in American studies. His responsibilities include being the main contact for women?s soccer, women?s basketball, golf and tennis. Oshidari also assists with the writing and editing of all conference publications, and maintenance of the conference website. Oshidari comes to the West Coast Conference after spending a year as a graduate assistant at University of the Pacific. (moshidari@westcoast.org)

Communications Assistant WILL KISS
Will Kiss joined the West Coast Conference as a Communications Assistant in March 2003. Kiss is a 2000 graduate of the University of San Francisco, receiving a BA in history. Kiss also holds a master's degree in Sports Management from USF. Kiss is the main media contact for men's soccer, cross country, and baseball.
