The Pepperdine University men's and women's teams continued their dominance of the WCC Championships, sweeping both the men's and women's titles. The Wave women downed No. 2 seeded San Diego, 4-0, while the Wave men edged the second seeded Toreros, 4-2.

San Diego junior Emma Murphy was named the WCC women's tennis Player of the Year for the second consecutive season, while Pepperdine University junior Scott Doerner became the eighth consecutive Waves' men's tennis player to earn WCC Player of the Year honors. Murphy is just the second WCC women's tennis player to earn back-to-back Player of the Year honors and the first since former USD standout Zuzana Lesenarova captured three straight awards from1998-2000.

The Pepperdine men swept the yearly conference honors as Jonas Berg was selected as the league's Freshman of the Year, and the Waves' Head Coach Adam Steinberg was named Coach of the Year. Berg is just the second Pepperdine player to earn WCC Freshman of the Year honors, joining junior Pedro Rico who took home the honor in 2003. Steinberg is the first Pepperdine coach to earn the league's top coaching honor since 2002.

On the women's side, Pepperdine's Bianca Dulgheru became the sixth Waves' women's tennis player to be named Freshman of the Year, while Saint Mary's Head Coach Lisa Alipaz became the first SMC women's tennis coach to be named Coach of the Year.

The Loyola Marymount women's team took home third place with a 4-2 win over No. 5 Saint Mary's, No. 4 Santa Clara defeated No. 6 San Francisco, 4-1, to finish fourth, while No. 7 Portland defeated No. 8 Gonzaga, 4-1, for seventh place.

In the men's tournament, No. 4 Santa Clara edged No. 3 Portland, 4-2, to capture third place, No. 5 Loyola Marymount defeated No. 6 Saint Mary's, 4-1, to take home fifth place, and No. 7 USF downed No. 8 Gonzaga, 4-0, for seventh place.
