SAN BRUNO, Calif. - Saint Mary's freshman Patrick Mills and San Francisco senior Dominique Carter earned WCC Player of the Week honors for their performances last week.

Dominique Carter led San Francisco to a pair of victories last week, averaging 24.0 points per game as the Dons stretched their winning streak to six straight games. The senior paced USF to a 95-86 win over Eastern Washington, scoring a team-high 23 points on 8-for-12 shooting, and pulling down seven boards. In an 81-72 victory over UC Davis, Carter dropped in 25 points and grabbed five rebounds, while shooting 10-for-13 from the floor. For the week, Carter shot a blistering .720 (18-for-25) from the field, and shot an equally impressive .750 (6-for-8) from beyond the arc.

Saint Mary's freshman guard Patrick Mills led the Gaels to the tournament title of the Outrigger Hotels Rainbow Classic. The Gaels defeated Tulane, 64-57, East Tennessee State, 89-65, and Ohio in the championship game, 70-63. Mills started the tournament by tossing in a game-high 23 points against Tulane. He followed that up with 11 points and a game-high eight assists against East Tennessee State. The Canberra, Australia native tossed in a team-high 23 points against the Bobcats. For the week, Mills averaged 19.0 ppg and 4.0 apg.
