Three student-athletes were honored on Monday as the league office announced the WCC Player of the Week award winners. Santa Clara captured the award for both men's and women's soccer as Jeff Cosgriff and Katherine Reynolds took home the weekly honors, while USD's Jessica Nyrop took women's volleyball Player of the Week.

the team with 25 assists, including posting a double-double in Saturday's
win over SMC with 17 digs and 44 assists. Against Santa Clara she recorded
a season-high 55 assists in directing USD to a .356 attack percentage.

JEFF COSGRIFF, SCU Junior - Middle Fielder

Weekly Stats: 4 shots, 1 goal in win over first place San Diego Cosgriff scored the game-winning goal in the Broncos' 1-0 win over first place San Diego, which gave the Broncos their first conference victory of the season and the Toreros their first conference loss of the season. For the season, Cosgriff leads the Broncos with eight points off three goals and two assists.

KATHERINE REYNOLDS, SCU Junior - Forward

Weekly Stats: 4 shots, 2 goals, 1 assist Junior tri-captain Katherine Reynolds solidified the Broncos 3-0 shutout over USF on Sunday. She got on the board for the first time this season, scoring two goals and notching an assist in the game. She converted a penalty kick and less than three minutes later she scored a second goal. Twenty minutes later she found Jenny LaPonte in the box to assist LaPonte's goal. She had four shots in the game, and two days prior versus Saint Mary's she had two shots in the 1-1 draw.
