SAN BRUNO, Calif. -- The West Coast Conference is pleased to announce the 2013 West Coast Conference Baseball All-Academic Team. Nine members of this year's team appeared on the 2012 All-Academic Team for baseball. The University of Portland led the way with six honorees, while Gonzaga University and the University of San Francisco each garnered five all-academic selections.
At the conclusion of each athletic season, the WCC selects an all-academic squad for each WCC-sponsored sport. To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.2 cumulative grade point average, while also being a significant contributor to his team.
