SAN MATEO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference has named its University Credit Union Women’s Soccer Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week for March 23, 2021.
 
UCU #WCCSPORTS OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – JULIE DOYLE, SR., F – SANTA CLARA
All-American Mikayla Colohan has continued to dominate for BYU. Last week, BYU faced crosstown foe UVU, and the senior scored two of BYU's four goals, and recorded two assists. She scored the first and second goals of the game, giving her another game-winner. Colohan's two goals gave her her seventh multi-goal match of her career. The former 2019 WCC Player of the Year also led the way in shots for BYU with seven. In BYU's conference matchup against Pacific, Colohan assisted on BYU's first goal of the game in the 27th minute. In the 56th minute, Colohan assisted another goal to give BYU the 3-1 lead. The midfielder put the game away with her fourth made penalty kick in four straight games in the 78th minute to give BYU the 5-1 victory. Colohan’s goals marked the 31st of her career, and she has been named to the Hermann Trophy watch list for the second year in a row. Colohan has been drafted by the Orlando Pride with the 14th overall pick in the 2021 NWSL Draft.

UCU #WCCSPORTS DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – ZOE CLEVELY, JR., GK – PEPPERDINE
Zoe Clevely tied her career high with seven saves on Friday at Portland as the Waves posted their third shutout in the last four games. Clevely stopped three shots in the first half and four in the second half, including a couple of close-range Pilot chances. Clevely hasn't allowed a goal in 395 minutes of action this season and her record is 4-0-1.
