SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – After helping LMU clinch a share of the West Coast Conference Baseball Regular Season Championship, with the opportunity to win it outright this weekend, LMU swept the Rawlings WCC Baseball Weekly honors with Pitcher of the Week going to Zach Kirby, while the Rawlings WCC Player of the Week was Khadim Diaw.
RAWLINGS WCC BASEBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK – KHADIM DIAW, SO., OF – LMU
Diaw slashed a line of .391/.462/.609 last week in five games. The sophomore opened the week with a four-hit performance against Long Beach State before launching his eighth long ball of the year in Saturday's 10-0 win at Pepperdine. He also scored seven runs, notched six RBI and stole a base. Diaw is enjoying a 13-game hitting streak. He became the first Lion to win Rawlings WCC Player of the Week this season.

RAWLINGS WCC BASEBALL PITCHER OF THE WEEK – ZACH KIRBY, SR. – LMU
Kirby made a pair of appearances last week, and the senior notched eight innings of shutout ball at Pepperdine, only allowing three hits and walking one with six strikeouts on Saturday. He also punched out two more in a relief outing on Monday against Long Beach State. This is Kirby's second Rawlings WCC Pitcher of the Week accolade after also earning the award for the first week of the season.
