SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Laura Pellicoro of Portland has been named the University Credit Union WCC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week after placing seventh at the Roy Griak Invitational - her first race this season.
 
UCU WCC WOMEN'S RUNNER OF THE WEEK – LAURA PELLICORO, SR.  – PORTLAND
Laura Pellicoro finished seventh overall at the Roy Griak Invitational, leading the Pilots to a fourth place finish overall. Her time of 20:12.5 was a strong performance on a very difficult course. Her seventh place finish against a stacked field was also impressive given her quick turnaround from running the World University Games back in August.
