SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – San Francisco won two of the three Rawlings West Coast Conference Baseball Player of the Week awards this week. TJ Rogers won Rawlings WCC Player of the Week and Rawlings WCC Pitcher of the Week went to Joe Soberon. LMU garnered the third award as JD Dunn won Rawlings WCC Freshman of the Week. These are the second and third weekly awards for the Dons this season.
RAWLINGS WCC BASEBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK – TJ ROGERS, JR., INF – SAN FRANCISCO
TJ Rogers led San Francisco to four wins over Saint Peter's last weekend, securing a .667 batting average (8-for-12), and he recorded two or more hits in three of the four games. Rogers posted seven RBI throughout the weekend, including a career-high five coming in a 16-1 rout of the Peacocks on Sunday. He notched five extra-base hits (three doubles and two home runs) and scored five runs. Rogers went 3-for-4 at the plate in the series finale, collecting a single and two home runs, the first multi-homer game of his career. He is the first Don to win Rawlings WCC Player of the Week this season.

RAWLINGS WCC BASEBALL PITCHER OF THE WEEK – JOE SOBERON, SR., RHP – SAN FRANCISCO
Joe Soberon earned his second win of the season in his lone start, guiding San Francisco to a 16-1 victory over Saint Peter's on Sunday. He allowed one run on four hits, and totaled a season-high nine strikeouts in seven innings pitched in his longest outing of the season. Soberon ranks second on the team and in the WCC with a 1.64 ERA in 22 innings pitched in four starts.

RAWLINGS WCC BASEBALL FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK – JD DUNN, FR., OF – LMU
JD Dunn made his collegiate debut in game two of the doubleheader against St. Louis. In his first at-bat, he recorded a sacrifice fly for his first RBI. He later smacked a three-run homer for his first career hit. He earned the start in the series finale and reached base four times, including a pair of singles and two walks. This is LMU's second weekly award this season.
