SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Helping their teams pick up two wins during the opening week of the 2024 season, Kylie Dobbs of LMU and Caroline Gray of Santa Clara earned Credit Union One West Coast Conference Women's Soccer Player of the Week honors. Dobbs won Credit Union One WCC Offensive Player of the Week while Gray claimed Credit Union One WCC Defensive Player of the Week.
CREDIT UNION ONE WCC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – KYLIE DOBBS, SR., F – LMU
Dobbs scored the opening goal of the season against UC Santa Barbara from 30 yards out that beat the keeper into the top right corner of the goal. Also against the Gauchos, she hit the post, forcing another key LMU scoring opportunity. She followed that with a brace against UC Davis on Saturday, scoring twice in the first half of the Lions' 3-2 victory over the Aggies.

CREDIT UNION ONE WCC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – CAROLINE GRAY, SR., D – SANTA CLARA
Gray played the full 90 minutes in both of Santa Clara's opening-week victories over San Jose State (4-0) and California (2-1). Gray led a defense that only allowed one goal over two games, which came on a penalty kick. She also registered a shot against the Golden Bears.
