SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Running against some of the top competitors in the nation, Washington State's Solomon Kipchoge was tabbed the West Coast Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week for the second time this season.

In one of the deepest national fields this season, Solomon Kipchoge finished second over the 8k course at the Nuttycombe Invitational in a time of 23:5.6 seconds The field included 17 teams ranked in the top 30 in the nation. In four races this season, Kipchoge has one victory and three second-place finishes. His efforts led the Cougars to a sixth-place finish as a team. The Cougars now own three conference weekly awards this season
