SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Helping her team win its event last weekend, Gonzaga's Maria Taggi Padro won West Coast Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week.

WEST COAST CONFERENCE WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER OF THE WEEK – MARIA TAGGI PADRO, JR.  – GONZAGA
Maria Taggi Padro ran a time of 18:00 in the 5k to claim second place at the Sasquatch Invitational last weekend. Her efforts allowed the Bulldogs to finish first as a team. This is Gonzaga's third conference weekly award this season and it's the third time in the last four weeks that Gonzaga has won the award.
