Isabel Clark Wins West Coast Conference Volleyball Offensive Player Of The Week

Piskorz wins defensive player of the week for the second time in three weeks

SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Isabel Clark from San Diego won West Coast Conference Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season, while San Francisco earned its first conference weekly award with Madison McPherson claiming West Coast Conference Freshman of the Week. Pepperdine's Ella Piskorz won West Coast Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the third time this season and Kylie Munday from San Diego won West Coast Conference Setter of the Week for the fourth time this season. 
 
WEST COAST CONFERENCE OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – ISABEL CLARK, SO., OH – SAN DIEGO
Isabel Clark led the way for San Diego last week, totaling 31 kills (3.88 K/S) while hitting .315 alongside a service ace and two assists as the Toreros extended their win streak to 14 with victories at Oregon State and Portland. Clark boasted 12 kills (4.00 A/S) and an assist while swinging .480 in Thursday night's sweep at Oregon State. Clark later delivered 19 more (3.80 A/S) with another assist and a service while hitting .229 in Saturday's 3-2 victory at Portland. USD has now won offensive player of the week five times in 2025.

WEST COAST CONFERENCE DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – ELLA PISKORZ, SO., MB – PEPPERDINE
Ella Piskorz led the Waves with nine total blocks, including a career-high six solo blocks in a three-set win over Santa Clara. Piskorz's defense helped Pepperdine hold the Broncos to a season-low hitting percentage of -0.77. Her nine total blocks tied the fourth-most in a three-set match in Pepperdine history. Pepperdine has now won defensive player of the week honors five times this season.

Continuing her strong second half of the season, Madison McPherson was key in two victories over Saint Mary’s and LMU last week. In the win over the Gaels, McPherson recorded her first-career double-double with 14 assists and a career-best 14 digs. She followed with her second straight double-double, matching her career high in assists with 21 and adding 11 digs in the four-set win over the Lions.

WEST COAST CONFERENCE SETTER OF THE WEEK – KYLIE MUNDAY, SO., S – SAN DIEGO
Kylie Munday amassed 79 assists (9.88 A/S), 16 digs, five blocks (two solo), four service aces and four kills as the Toreros won at Oregon State and Portland. She produced 33 assists (11.00 A/S), four digs, three blocks (two solo), a service ace and a kill in Thursday night's sweep over the Beavers. Munday later notched a double-double in the 3-2 win over Portland, totaling 46 assists (9.20 A/S), 12 digs, three kills, three service aces, and two blocks.
