SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Batting over .500 for the week, Pacific's Jake Tandy won Rawlings West Coast Conference Baseball Player of the Week, while Jonah Johnson from LMU won Rawlings Pitcher of the Week. San Diego picked up a Conference weekly award for the second straight week as Rex Watson won Rawlings WCC Freshman of the Week.
RAWLINGS WCC BASEBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK – JAKE TANDY, JR., INF – PACIFIC
Jake Tandy hit .550 in the week, including three multi-hit performances and recording a hit in five straight games. Tandy hit a home run and drove in two runs during Saturday's 14-2 win at Indiana State. This is Pacific's first Conference weekly award this season.

RAWLINGS WCC BASEBALL PITCHER OF THE WEEK – JONAH JOHNSON, JR. – LMU
Jonah Johnson made two appearances last week, accumulating 8.2 innings of work and striking out 17 batters, over half of the hitters he faced. He allowed zero earned runs and only five base runners for a WHIP of .58. He struck out seven in 3.1 innings of work against CSUN before striking out 10 in 5.1 innings of work last Saturday against Tarleton State. This is LMU's third Conference weekly award this season, one in each category.

RAWLINGS WCC BASEBALL FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK – REX WATSON, FR., OF – SAN DIEGO
Rex Watson collected nine RBI last week, batting 4-for-11 (.363) with a grand slam, a double, four runs scored, three walks and a stolen base across four games, including a midweek matchup at No. 16 Santa Barbara and three games vs. Columbia at Fowler Park. Watson went 1-for-2 with two runs and an RBI in game one against the Lions before hammering a go-ahead grand slam in game two, his first collegiate homer. He cleared the bases with a three-run double in game three to add to a trio of walks and a stolen base he notched on Saturday and Sunday. This is USD's second Conference weekly award this season.
