SAN BRUNO, Calif –  The West Coast Conference will be well represented at the NCAA Men's Golf Championship as No. 21 Pepperdine and No. 39 San Diego will take to Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif., from May 23-28, hosted by the University of Texas. The GOLF Channel will have coverage from May 26-28. You can follow live scoring on Scoreboard powered by CLIPPD

With most of Pepperdine and all of Arizona in the clubhouse, Mahanth Chirravuri, who is ranked No. 50 in the latest Scoreboard powered by CLIPPD rankings, made birdie on 18 to give Pepperdine the last transfer position and finish off a 4-under back nine. The Waves would officially complete a seven stroke comeback on the final day of the Amherst Regional.

San Diego will travel less than an hour on Interstate 5 as they take part in its first NCAA Championship as a team since 2021. The Toreros navigated tough weather conditions and several delays in the Reno Regional, passing Mississippi State and erasing a 12 stroke deficit entering the final round. The Toreros put together their strongest round of the tournament in the final 18 holes with a team score of 4-under to clinch their spot in the 2025 NCAA Championship.

This will be Pepperdine's first appearance as a team in the NCAA Championship since 2023, where they advanced to the quarterfinals in match play. The Waves will be represented by West Coast Conference Co-Player of the Year Mahanth Chirravuri, 2024 West Coast Conference Individual Champion Brady Siravo, Willy Walsh, Luke Bailey, Kristoffer Kuvaas, and Byungho Lee. The Waves will tee off at 6:30 a.m. PT on Friday in 11-minute intervals.

San Diego will have First Team West Coast Conference Golfer and No. 129 ranked Ryan Abuan, You Seong Choi, Ian Maspat, Cooper Humphreys, Jaden Cantafio, and Henry Dall leading the way at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa. Abuan was just one of 14 players to finish under par in the Reno Regional. The Toreros will tee off at 7:47 a.m. PT on Friday in 11-minute intervals.

All 30 teams and six individuals will complete in 54 holes of stroke play at the NCAA Championship. Following 54 holes of competition, the top 15 teams along with the top nine individuals not on an advancing team will advance for one additional day of stroke play to determine the top eight teams for match-play competition and the 72-hole stroke-play individual champion. The top eight teams after 72 holes of play will be placed into a bracket thereafter.
