SAN BRUNO, Calif. – West Coast Conference Commissioner Stu Jackson has announced title changes for two members of the conference staff. Dave Ford will now serve as the Director of Basketball and Conference Operations, and Jordan Barajas will serve as the Assistant to the Commissioner/Assistant Director of Operations.
“Dave and Jordan have each served important roles across several operational units,” Jackson said. “These title changes more accurately reflect their responsibilities and are indicative of their many contributions to the conference and membership.”
Ford, who joined the conference two years ago as the Director of Operations, will have a greater focus in men’s and women’s basketball operations. He will continue to manage scheduling, officiating assignments and video exchange for all conference sports, while expanding his role in basketball operations. Over the past year, Ford has utilized models to help provide important data to analyze men’s and women’s basketball performance and assist in the development of strategies to better position the conference for success. He also serves as the sport administrator for men’s soccer, men’s and women’s cross country and women’s rowing.
Barajas, who also joined the conference office in the fall of 2023, has managed office operations and assisted Commissioner Jackson, with day-to-day administrative support. He has expanded his responsibilities to provide operational support in various sports and has served a leading role in planning events. Barajas also provides on-site operational assistance for several conference championship events.
Both Ford’s and Barajas’ title changes are effective immediately.
