SAN BRUNO, Calif. – For the second straight week, Washington State's Eliana Ti'a won West Coast Conference Freshman of the Week after helping the Cougars finish 2-1 last weekend. Her teammate Lucie Blažková won West Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Week, giving WSU two conference weekly awards for the week. Tinoa Woodward-Hart from Portland claimed West Coast Conference Defensive Player of the Week, while Macy Hinshaw of Santa Clara won West Coast Conference Setter of the Week.
WEST COAST CONFERENCE OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – LUCIE BLAZKOVA, SO., OH – WASHINGTON STATE
Lucie Blažková helped WSU win two out of three at the GCU Classic, contributing 53 kills and hitting .441, with 63.0 total points and four assists. Blažková added 16.0 blocks, including four solo blocks and seven digs. She averaged 4.08 kills, 4.85 points and 0.31 assists per set over her 13 sets played.

Tinoa Woodward-Hart anchored the Portland defense last weekend. She posted a match-high 11 digs at Oregon, led the team with 14 digs in the sweep of Eastern Washington and capped the week with a career-high 28 digs in a five-set victory over CSUN. This is Portland's first conference weekly award this season.

Eliana Ti'a continued her strong start at the GCU Classic, totaling 42 kills, 48.5 total points, 5.0 total blocks, 43 digs and four service aces. Ti'a notched a season-high 17 kills against Grand Canyon and averaged 3.73 points, 3.23 kills, 3.32 digs and 0.38 blocks per set over her 13 sets played. Washington State now owns three conference weekly awards this season.

Macy Hinshaw collected 126 assists over three matches last weekend, averaging 9.69 assists per set. She went over 40 assists in all three matches. Hinshaw also recorded double-doubles in each match with 11, 10, and 15 digs respectively, giving her four double-doubles this season. Hinshaw also added a career-best four kills last Saturday. This is Santa Clara's first conference weekly award this season.
