SAN BRUNO, Calif. - After an undefeated weekend at the West Coast Challenge in Santa Cruz, LMU's Maja Kruczek and Josefine Schaekel were named West Coast Conference Beach Volleyball Pair of the Week.

WEST COAST CONFERENCE PAIR OF THE WEEK – MAJA KRUCZEK, SO., JOSEFINE SCHAEKEL, FR., LMU
LMU's duo of Maja Kruczek and Josefine Schaekel posted a perfect 3-0 record from the No. 4 court to help the Lions go unbeaten on the weekend at the West Coast Challenge in Santa Cruz. In Friday's match against Saint Mary's, the pair allowed just 23 points in the win, 21-10, 21-13. On Saturday, the duo came out on top in a two-set victory over Santa Clara, 21-19, 21-18. The two finished the weekend off with a win over Pepperdine in two sets, 21-12, 21-16. The Lions' pair has collected eight consecutive victories when paired together. This is the duo's first and LMU's fourth conference recognition of the season.
