SAN BRUNO, Calif. – For the third time in the first four weeks of the season, Gonzaga's Landon Hood won Rawlings West Coast Conference Freshman of the Week. For the second time this season, Max Bayles from Santa Clara claimed Rawlings West Coast Conference Pitcher of the Week. After batting .625 last week, Pacific's Robert Orr won Rawlings West Coast Conference Player of the Week.
RAWLINGS WEST COAST CONFERENCE BASEBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK – ROBERT ORR, JR., INF – PACIFIC
Robert Orr was red hot at the plate in the series against Nevada and the lone game against San Jose State, going 10-for-16 (.625) with a pair of home runs, for runs, 5 RBI. This is Pacific's first conference weekly award this season.

RAWLINGS WEST COAST CONFERENCE BASEBALL PITCHER OF THE WEEK – MAX BAYLES, JR. – SANTA CLARA
Max Bayles boasted a season-high 10 strikeouts in four shutout innings on the road at No. 12-ranked Oklahoma. The Sooners, who entered the night hitting .313 and slugging .534 as a team, were shut down by Bayles who started the game with four strikeouts and collected multiple Ks in all four of his frames, including striking out three in both the first and fourth innings. His 10 strikeouts were only two short of his career high. Santa Clara owns three conference weekly awards this season.

RAWLINGS WEST COAST CONFERENCE BASEBALL FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK – LANDON HOOD, FR., P – GONZAGA
Landon Hood picked up his second win of the season after shutting down Creighton in relief. He held the Bluejays scoreless across five innings and only gave up two hits. Hood struck out eight batters and he still has not given up a run this season across 16.1 innings of work. Gonzaga owns four conference weekly awards this season.
