SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Two dominant pitching performances last week led to Pacific's Zach Todd and Pepperdine's Tommy Scavone sharing Rawlings West Coast Conference Pitcher of the Week honors this week. San Diego's CJ Moran won Rawlings West Coast Conference Player of the Week after batting .615 last weekend and Landon Hood won Rawlings West Coast Conference Freshman of the Week for the third straight week.
RAWLINGS WEST COAST CONFERENCE BASEBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK – CJ MORAN, SO., INF/OF – SAN DIEGO
CJ Moran batted .615 (8-for-13) at Portland last weekend, tallying two doubles, four RBI, four runs and a stolen base. Moran produced multiple hits in all three of the Toreros' games against the Pilots, including three in both Thursday and Friday's contests. He also got on base at a .600 clip and slugged .769. The Toreros now own two conference player of the week awards this season.

RAWLINGS WEST COAST CONFERENCE BASEBALL CO-PITCHER OF THE WEEK – TOMMY SCAVONE, GR., RHP – PEPPERDINE
Tommy Scavone struck out seven with no walks in his start against San Francisco last Saturday. He earned the win, nearly going the distance with eight innings of work on the mound. The Waves blanked the Dons, 4-0, thanks to his outing. This is Scavone's second conference pitcher of the week honor this season and the Waves own three overall this season.
RAWLINGS WEST COAST CONFERENCE BASEBALL CO-PITCHER OF THE WEEK – ZACH TODD, JR., RHP – PACIFIC
Zach Todd collected a career-high 11 strikeouts in six scoreless innings last Friday. One of his strikeouts was the 100th in his career. In the 8-0 win over LMU, Todd earned the win, only allowing two hits and one walk. This is the second time in the last three weeks that a Tiger has won conference pitcher of the week.

RAWLINGS WEST COAST CONFERENCE BASEBALL FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK – LANDON HOOD, FR., RHP – GONZAGA
Landon Hood notched a perfect relief outing in last Saturday's win over Santa Clara, striking out all seven batters that he faced while securing his fourth save of the year. He also earned a strikeout in relief at Oregon earlier in the week. Hood allowed no hits across 2.2 scoreless innings of work and secured a perfect 27 K/9 after striking out every batter he faced. He allowed just one walk while producing a 0.38 WHIP. Hood has won the last three consecutive conference freshman of the week awards and now owns six total this season.
