Sacramento State Wins Second Straight Crew Of The Week

Hornets' varsity eight went 3-1 at Triton Invitational

SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Sacramento State's varsity eight earned West Coast Conference Crew of the Week honors after going 3-1 last weekend at the Triton Invitational.

WEST COAST CONFERENCE CREW OF THE WEEK – SACRAMENTO STATE'S VARSITY EIGHT
Sacramento State's varsity eight raced four times over two days at the Triton Invitational last weekend. The Hornets' crew went 3-1 on the weekend, winning three straight races against Gonzaga, UC San Diego and Portland. Each of the three victories came by more than six seconds, including a win that saw Sacramento State post a 6:52.58 time against the Bulldogs. The boat's best time of the week was a 6:44.30 time over 2,000 meters.
