LMU Wins Beach Volleyball Pair of the Week

Lions' duo went undefeated in first weekend competing together

SAN BRUNO, Calif. - Paired up for their first competition ever, LMU's Chloe Hooker and Ines Piret were named West Coast Conference Beach Volleyball Pair of the Week. 

WEST COAST CONFERENCE PAIR OF THE WEEK – CHLOE HOOKER, SR., INES PIRET, SO., LMU
LMU's duo of Chloe Hooker and Ines Piret went 4-0 last weekend on court two in the pair's first time competing with each other at the FSU Challenge. The wins included ranked victories against No. 5 Florida State on back-to-back days, which helped the Lions earn a 3-2 victory against the Seminoles on Friday. The duo also picked up wins against Southern Miss., 21-16, 21-9, to open the FSU Challenge and then battled to defeat Jacksonville, 24-22, 21-15. This is the duo's first conference recognition as a pair and LMU's fifth weekly honor of the season.
