SAN BRUNO, Calif. - The West Coast Conference announced its Softball All-Academic team for the 2026 season. This year’s 13-member team encompasses West Coast Conference student-athletes who excelled both on the diamond and in the classroom.
The softball all-academic team is normally 12 members, but it is 13 this year due to a tie in voting.
At the conclusion of each athletic season, the West Coast Conference selects an all-academic squad for each West Coast Conference-sponsored sport. To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, while also being a significant contributor to their team and in at least their second year at their school.
LMU, Santa Clara and Saint Mary's had the most selections with three each. Seattle U had a pair of student-athletes on the all-academic team, while Oregon State and Pacific had one each. This is the third year in a row that Victoria Castillo (Saint Mary's), Jordan Hayes (Pacific) and Izzy Jamgotchian (LMU) made the all-academic team. Sydney Poole (LMU) was previously on the team in 2023 and 2025. Taryn Clements (Santa Clara) made the team for the second straight year.
