SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Tom Leggett of Air Force and Lucas Wulfhorst of UC Davis earned the first KAP7 West Coast Conference Men's Water Polo weekly awards of 2026. Leggett was named KAP7 West Coast Conference Player of the Week, while Wulfhorst earned KAP7 West Coast Conference Newcomer of the Week honors.
 
KAP7 WEST COAST CONFERENCE MEN'S WATER POLO PLAYER OF THE WEEK – TOM LEGGETT, SR. – AIR FORCE
Tom Leggett tallied 28 goals and four assists in four games (7 goals per game, 8 points per game). He scored at least six goals in all four games, including eight goals and an assist in the Falcons' 17-14 win over MIT. Leggett also scored eight times against No. 17 Harvard. His scoring line in the victory over Long Island included six goals and three assists. He followed that with six goals against No. 20 Brown Sunday.

KAP7 WEST COAST CONFERENCE MEN'S WATER POLO NEWCOMER OF THE WEEK – LUCAS WULFHORST, FR. – UC DAVIS
Lucas Wulfhorst posted a pair of hat tricks in the Aggies' opening weekend tournament at Brown. Against Iona, he scored three goals, powering the offense to 31 total goals, the most in single-game program history. Later that day against No. 20 Brown, Wulfhorst tallied four goals, leading his team to a top-20 victory.
