SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Air Force landed both KAP 7 West Coast Conference Men’s Water Polo Player of the Week honors with Tom Leggett claiming the Player of the Week award and Wyatt Sturgeon collecting the Newcomer of the Week accolade. The Falcons have captured four of the first six weekly conference honors in men's water polo, with Leggett taking his second Player of the Week award this week.

KAP7 WEST COAST CONFERENCE OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – TOM LEGGETT, SR., UTL – AIR FORCE
Tom Leggett scored 23 goals and dished out nine assists for 32 points in leading Air Force to a 4-0 record at the Fullerton Tournament. The senior also produced 10 drawn exclusions and six goals in a 19-10 win over Redlands, three goals and one assist in an 18-5 win over Chapman, nine goals and three assists for 12 points in a 17-11 win over Cal State Fullerton, five goals and five assists for 10 points in a 2OT 19-17 win over Concordia-Irvine, and the game-tying goal with 58 seconds left in regulation to send the Concordia-Irvine game into overtime. Leggett also claimed the season's first KAP 7 West Coast Conference Men's Water Polo Player of the Week award on September 1, with Air Force sweeping the Player of the Week awards through three weeks.

KAP7 WEST COAST CONFERENCE NEWCOMER OF THE WEEK – WYATT STURGEON, FR., G – AIR FORCE
Wyatt Sturgeon led Air Force to a 4-0 record at the Fullerton Tournament, recording 43 saves and 10 steals and posting a 10.27 GAA. In the win over Redlands, he posted 10 saves and three steals. Sturgeon followed that effort with seven saves and a career-low five goals allowed in win over Chapman, 11 saves and two steals in a victory over Cal State Fullerton, and 12 saves, one assist and two steals in 2OT win over Concordia-Irvine.
