SAN BRUNO, Calif. - The West Coast Conference is pleased to announce the 2014-15 West Coast Conference Women's Golf All-Academic Team. The list is headlined by three student-athletes making their third straight first team appearance: Pepperdine's Alina Ching, Gonzaga's Alice Kim and Santa Clara's Kaci McCartan.

San Francisco's Clare Sorensen and BYU's Maria Yacaman both earned a first team spot for the second straight year. Yacaman posted the highest GPA turned in by a women's golf student-athlete in 2014-15 with a 3.98 in Information Systems. Six honorees posted a GPA of 3.50 or better.

At the conclusion of each athletic season, the WCC selects an all-academic squad for each WCC-sponsored sport. To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, while also being a significant contributor to his team.
