SAN BRUNO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference is pleased to announce the 2017-18 West Coast Conference Women’s Golf All-Academic Team. This year’s team is comprised of six seniors and one sophomore.
Three seniors – Kendra Dalton (BYU), Kristin Le (Santa Clara) and Katherine Zhu (Pepperdine) – each make their third straight and final first team appearance. BYU’s Annie Yang (Psychology) and San Francisco’s Kimberly Liu (International Business) posted the highest GPA turned in by women’s golf student-athletes in 2017-18 with unblemished 4.0 GPAs. Six honorees posted a GPA of 3.50 or better.
At the conclusion of each athletic season, the WCC selects an all-academic squad for each WCC-sponsored sport. To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, while also being a significant contributor to her team.
