SAN MATEO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference has named its University Credit Union Men’s TennisSingles Player and Doubles Team of the Week for April 6, 2021.
 
UCU #WCCSPORTS SINGLES PLAYER OF THE WEEK – GUY DEN OUDEN, FR. – PEPPERDINE
Guy Den Ouden went undefeated this week with a 6-3, 6-0 over No. 48 SMU's Liam Krall on court three and a 6-1, 6-1 victory over No. 34 Wichita State's Marius Frosa on court two. He is currently on a six-match winning stream.

UCU #WCCSPORTS DOUBLES TEAM OF THE WEEK – MATEO VEREAU AND BRIGHAM ANDRUS – BYU
BYU junior Mateo Vereau Melendez and freshman Brigham Andrus went 2-0 on the road last week, helping the Cougars improve to 4-0 in WCC play. At Portland, the duo earned a tough 7-6 (7) win. Melendez and Andrus also clinched the doubles point for BYU in a 6-4 victory at Gonzaga on Saturday, giving BYU momentum as they went on to beat the Bulldogs 4-2.
