SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - After some solid results and record winning times during the month of March, the Portland varsity eight was awarded the WCC Crew of the Month for March. 

WEST COAST CONFERENCE CREW OF THE MONTH (MARCH): PORTLAND VARSITY EIGHT 
Portland's Varsity 8 took first at Washington's Husky Open on March 25. The Pilots have recorded a win three straight times at this specific meet. UP posted its fastest time in event since 2019 at 6:57.570. In 2019, they had set a program record at the event.

Portland also competed at the Sacramento State Invite on March 11, taking third and beating WCC opponent Santa Clara.
