SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Arianna Jaurequi from LMU and Santa Clara's Hannah Edwards are this week's Credit Union 1 West Coast Conference Softball Players of the Week, as announced by the conference on Monday. Junior catcher Arianna jaurequi won Credit Union 1 WCC Player of the Week, while Hannah Edwards earned Credit Union 1 WCC Pitcher of the Week honors.

CREDIT UNION 1 WCC PLAYER OF THE WEEK – ARIANNA JAUREQUI, JR., C – LMU
Arianna Jaurequi showcased tallied seven runs, eight hits, and two doubles last week for LMU, hilighted by a homer and three RBI. In the third game against the Tigers, she had three hits, two runs, one home run, and one RBI. Across all four games, Jaurequi was above .500 in hitting and slugging percentage. Behind the plate, Jaurequi recorded ten putouts in the four-game series, including six putouts in game four. This is Jauregui's second Credit Union 1 WCC Player of the Week honor received this season and the sixth CU1 weekly honor won by LMU.

CREDIT UNION 1 WCC PITCHER OF THE WEEK – HANNAH EDWARDS, R-JR., P – SANTA CLARA 
Hannah Edwards picked up a pair of wins against Saint Mary's to help the Broncos to a series win last weekend. The redshirt junior tossed a pair of complete game victories, first in the series opener on Friday and in Sunday's series finale, both by a 2-1 margin. In the series, Edwards pitched 15 2/3 innings over three games, gave up 12 hits, three runs, struck out six and walked just one batter. On Friday's series opener, Edwards scattered four hits, one run, struck out two and did not issue a walk over seven frames that she threw 87 pitches in. In the series finale on Sunday, she gave up five hits, a run, walked one and struck out four in seven innings to pick up her 11th win of the season and give SCU a 3-1 series win. This is Santa Clara's first Credit Union 1 WCC weekly honor this season.
