SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – West Coast Conference Men's Soccer featured its first repeat weekly award winner. San Diego's Samy Kanaan won Credit Union One WCC Offensive Player of the Week for the second time in 2024, while Kolby Fish Sessions of Saint Mary's won Credit Union One WCC Defensive Player of the Week.  
 
CREDIT UNION ONE WCC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – SAMY KANAAN, JR., F – SAN DIEGO
Samy Kanaan delivered the game winner in the 15th ranked Toreros' wins over both California Baptist and Grand Canyon. Kanaan's two goals this week increased his team lead to five goals on the season as he helped his team garner a 6-1-2 record in nonconference play. This is the fifth time USD has earned a Conference weekly award in 2024.

CREDIT UNION ONE WCC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – KOLBY FISH SESSIONS, FR., GK – SAINT MARY'S
Kolby Fish Sessions made his collegiate debut in goal for the Gaels on Friday night, recording a game-high eight saves off of 18 shots during the 0-0 draw. Sessions made numerous one-on-one stops and clutch saves to preserve the tie. He made six of his eight saves in the final 45 minutes and his eight-save performance was a season high for the Gaels. This is the first Conference weekly award for the Gaels this season.
