SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Lucia Busso from Portland won West Coast Conference Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week, while Seattle U earned its first conference weekly award with Petra Frtiz claiming West Coast Conference Freshman of the Week. Santa Clara's Macy Hinshaw won West Coast Conference Setter of the Week for the fourth time this season and Annika Hester from Oregon State won West Coast Conference Defensive Player of the Week.
WEST COAST CONFERENCE OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – LUCIA BUSSO, SR., OH – PORTLAND
Lucia Busso compiled 29 kills and 34 points across two matches while hitting .373 overall. Busso sparked Portland's 3-0 sweep over LMU with a match-high 14 kills on .500 hitting (17 points), leading a balanced Pilot attack in their first win over the Lions since 2010. She followed that performance with 15 kills and 17 points to pace the offense once again against Gonzaga. This is Busso's first conference weekly award this season and the third for the Pilots.

Annika Hester played nine sets across two games, tallying 28 digs (3.11/set) and 13 blocks (1.44/set) with a career-high 15 digs in the Beavers' reverse sweep at Saint Mary's last Thursday. In a four-set win over LMU, She recorded 13 digs and eight blocks (five solo). This is Hester's first conference weekly award this season and the seventh for the Beavers this season.

Petra Fritz boasted a collegiate best 23 kills in win over San Francisco. She tied her season best with five aces and a career-high 17 digs. It marked her second double-double in digs and kills this season.

Macy Hinshaw led the Broncos to two wins last weekend with victories over USF and Pacific for their fifth and sixth straight wins, the longest streak since 2019. Hinshaw totaled 36 assists against USF and 42 against Pacific, her 15th game this season with 40 or more. She averaged 11.14 assists per set this weekend. Santa Clara now owns five conference weekly awards this season.
