WSU's Blazkova Wins West Coast Conference Volleyball Offensive Player Of The Week

OSU's Marrs once again wins Freshman of the Week

SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Leading the way for Washington State last week led to Lucie Blazkova claiming West Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Week - for the second time this season. Pepperdine's Tristen Raymond also won West Coast Conference Setter of the Week for the second time in 2025. Alana Marrs from Oregon State captured West Coast Conference Freshman of the Week for the third time this season and San Diego's Kali Engeman won Defensive Player of the Week. 
 
WEST COAST CONFERENCE OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – LUCIE BLAžKOVá, SO., MB – WASHINGTON STATE
Lucie Blažková totaled 21 kills on a .543 hitting percentage last week. She added three service aces and an average of 7.0 total blocks for 29.5 total points. She also chipped in two assists and 10 digs while averaging 4.21 points, 3.00 kills, 1.00 blocks, 1.43 digs and 0.43 aces per set. Washington State now owns four conference weekly awards this season.

WEST COAST CONFERENCE DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – KALI ENGEMAN, GR., MB – SAN DIEGO
Kali Engeman totaled 13 blocks (three solo) and two digs as USD defeated Washington State and Seattle U on the road. Engeman notched six digs (two solo) during the sweep over the Cougars, then added six more (one solo) and two digs in Saturday's 3-1 win against the Redhawks. Her efforts helped the Toreros hold WSU and SU to a combined .120 hitting percentage across both matches. This is Engeman's first conference weekly honor and San Diego now owns 11 this season.

WEST COAST CONFERENCE FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK – ALANA MARRS, FR., MB – OREGON STATE
Alana Marrs was among the leaders for the Beavers in kills (10) and blocks with two. On the offensive side, Marrs tallied a .692 rate on 13 swings and committed just one error. Marrs has now won Freshman of the Week three times in 2025 and she owns four conference weekly awards this season. OSU now boasts five conference weekly awards overall this season.

WEST COAST CONFERENCE SETTER OF THE WEEK – TRISTEN RAYMOND, FR., S – PEPPERDINE
Tristen Raymond led Pepperdine with 8.33 assists per set in three-set wins against Seattle U and Portland last weekend. She recorded her seventh career double-double with 24 assists and 10 digs against the Redhawks. Against Portland, Raymond finished with 26 assists, nine digs, three blocks, three aces and two kills. As Pepperdine's primary setter last week, Raymond helped the Waves' offense hit over .300 in both matches. This is the second time this season that Raymond has won Setter of the Week and the Waves now own four conference weekly awards this season.
