SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Santa Clara’s Abigail Charpentier was named the Heluva Good Dip West Coast Conference Softball Player of the Week, while Odhi Vasquez of Saint Mary's earned Heluva Good Dip West Coast Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week honors on Monday.  
 
HELUVA GOOD DIP WCC PLAYER OF THE WEEK – ABIGAIL CHARPENTIER, SR., C/OF – SANTA CLARA
Abigail Charpentier led the Broncos at Santa Clara’s Silicon Valley Classic tournament. Charpentier guided the Broncos to a 4-1 record during the weekend, capped off with four consecutive wins. During the tournament, Charpentier had a slash line of .429/.600/1.143 for Santa Clara and contributed five extra base hits and drove in nine runs as the Broncos improved to 7-3 on the season.

HELUVA GOOD DIP WCC PITCHER OF THE WEEK – ODHI VASQUEZ, JR. – SAINT MARY'S
Odhi Vasquez tossed eight innings as Saint Mary's took down Southern Utah in extra innings over the weekend. Vasquez fanned 10 batters while only surrendering five total hits and one run on the afternoon, including escaping a bases loaded jam with no outs unscathed. The Gaels would go on to win 2-1 over the Thunderbirds.
