SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Sam Buckley of Saint Mary's was named the Heluva Good Dip West Coast Conference Softball Player of the Week after belting a walk-off two-run home run to complete the sweep over San Diego. Her teammate Odhi Vasquez, and Oregon State's Logan Hulon, shared this week's Heluva Good Dip West Coast Conference Pitcher of the Week award after both pitchers posted dominant performances in the circle.

After going 0-for-2 in game one of the three-game set against San Diego, Buckley rebounded by going 4-for-8, including belting a walk-off two-run home run with two outs in the bottom of the seventh in the series finale to give Saint Mary’s a series sweep. The two RBI on that home run gave her the program's single-season RBI record of 40. She also boasts the program record in home runs with 14. This is the third time this season that Buckley has garnered Conference player of the week recognition.

HELUVA GOOD DIP WEST COAST CONFERENCE SOFTBALL CO-PITCHER OF THE WEEK – LOGAN HULON, SR. – OREGON STATE
Logan Hulon went 2-0 in two starts in Oregon State’s series sweep over Pacific. She struck out 15, including 10 in the series opener, while allowing nine hits in 12.0 innings of work. Hulon did not walk a batter in her two complete games, surrendering just one run. This is the second time this season she has earned Conference pitcher of the week accolades.

Odhi Vasquez opened her week by starting the second game in the three-game series against San Diego, taking a no-hitter into the fourth inning. She followed that performance by picking up a victory in relief in the finale. Called upon in the fourth inning down 2-0, Vasquez surrendered one hit over the final four innings, as the Gaels came back to win in the bottom of the seventh. Vasquez finished her week 2-0 with one earned run on three hits, fanning 10 batters over 11 innings of work. This is the fourth time this season that Vasquez has won Conference Pitcher of the Week, and it's the first time since she won three weeks in a row from Feb. 17 to March 3.
