SAN BRUNO, Calif. --- The West Coast Conference is pleased to announce the 2012 West Coast Conference Men's Tennis All-Academic Team. Six members of this year's team appeared on last year's All-Academic list: Gonzaga's Levin Guillermo and Zhia Hwa Chong, Saint Mary's Maxime Olivan, San Diego's Patrick Pohlmann and Thibaut Visy, and San Francisco's Richard Bucalem.
At the conclusion of each athletic season, the WCC selects 12 individuals to the all-academic squad to mirror the all-conference men's tennis team. To be nominated, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average based on the most recently completed term at the time of nomination, be at least a sophomore in both academic and athletic standing, and prove to be a significant contributor to his team.
