SAN BRUNO, Calif. --- The West Coast Conference is pleased to announce the 2012 West Coast Conference Women's Tennis All-Academic Team. Four members of this year's team appeared on last year's All-Academic squad: Portland's Valeska Hoath, San Diego's Juliette Coupez and Laura Claus, and Santa Clara's Kelly Lamble.
At the conclusion of each athletic season, the WCC selects 12 individuals to the all-academic squad to mirror the all-conference women's tennis team. To be nominated, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average based on the most recently completed term at the time of nomination, be at least a sophomore in both academic and athletic standing, and prove to be a significant contributor to her team.
