SAN BRUNO, Calif. -- The West Coast Conference is pleased to announce the 2015-16 West Coast Conference Women's Golf All-Academic Team. San Francisco senior Clare Sorenson makes her third straight appearance on the first team to headline the list.
Pepperdine's Alessandra Arza, San Francisco's Alison Lillie and Gonzaga's Ciera Min each earn their second first team appearance. BYU's Brooklyn Hocker posted the highest GPA turned in by a women's golf student-athlete in 2015-16 with a 4.00 in Exercise and Wellness. Eight honorees posted a GPA of 3.50 or better.
At the conclusion of each athletic season, the WCC selects an all-academic squad for each WCC-sponsored sport. To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, while also being a significant contributor to her team.
