2017 WCC CHAMPIONSHIP CENTRAL
SAN BRUNO, Calif. -- The West Coast Conference is pleased to announce the 2016-17 West Coast Conference Women's Golf All-Academic Team. Two seniors make their third straight All-WCC First Team appearance: Ciera Min (Gonzaga) and Alison Lillie (San Francisco) headline the list.
Kendra Dalton (BYU), Brooklyn Hocker (BYU), Kristin Le (Santa Clara) and Katherine Zhu (Pepperdine) each earned their second first team appearance. BYU's Rose Huang posted the highest GPA turned in by a women's golf student-athlete in 2016-17 with a 3.92 in Food Science. Ten honorees (including an honorable mention selection) posted a GPA of 3.50 or better.
At the conclusion of each athletic season, the WCC selects an all-academic squad for each WCC-sponsored sport. To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, while also being a significant contributor to her team.
