SAN BRUNO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference is pleased to announce the 2016-17 West Coast Conference Women’s Tennis All-Academic Team. This season, 16 honorees turned in a GPA of 3.5 or higher and eight posted a 3.75 GPA or better.
Five members find themselves on the All-Academic team for the second consecutive time in Pepperdine’s Laura Gulbe and Christine Maddox, Jana McCord of Saint Mary’s and Santa Clara’s Nabila Farah and Daniella Silva. Maddox and Farrah are making their third appearances on the WCC All-Academic team.
At the conclusion of each athletic season, the WCC selects an all-academic squad for each WCC-sponsored sport. To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average while also being a significant contributor to her team.
