SAN BRUNO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference has named San Diego’s Joel Gamerov the West Coast Conference Men’s Singles Player of the Week and the BYU duo of David Ball and Sean Hill the Men’s Doubles Team of the Week.

Gamerov earns the first award of the season after he clinched the win over Washington with a straight set win at No. 2 singles. It improved his singles record to 4-0 this season, including 3-0 at No. 2.

Ball and Hill paired up for the first time this weekend and were the only BYU pair to win both doubles matches, clinching the doubles points in both dual-matches. Against East Tennessee State, Ball and Hill defeated Miguel Este and Dimitri Badra 6-3. The Cougars pair topped Weber State's Cezary Walkusz and Sebastian Buxman 6-3.?
