SAN BRUNO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference is pleased to announce the 2020 West Coast Conference Women’s Tennis All-Academic Team. This year’s group features seven newcomers to the 12-member first team.
Saint Mary’s
Chloe Goyette (Kinesiology) posted the highest GPA turned in by a women’s golf student-athlete capping her collegiate career with an unblemished 4.0 GPA in her Master’s program. Of the 42 student-athletes nominated, 24 posted a GPA of 3.50 or better, while 14 had a 3.75 GPA or higher.
Two seniors made their third consecutive all-academic squad: LMU’s
Siohban Anderson and Pepperdine’s
Ashley Lahey.
San Diego’s
Kati Kukaras, Santa Clara’s
Maddie Pothoff along with Portland’s
Emily Soares each earned their second straight academic first team selection.
At the conclusion of each athletic season, the WCC selects an all-academic squad for each WCC-sponsored sport. To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, while also being a significant contributor to her team.
