SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Pepperdine swept both honors for the fourth time this season as the Conference announced its weekly awards. Savannah Broadus earned the University Credit Union WCC Women's Tennis Singles Player of the Week. Her and her partner Janice Tjen took UCU WCC Doubles Team of the Week in back-to-back weeks for a total of four this season.
 
UCU WCC WOMEN'S TENNIS SINGLES PLAYER OF THE WEEK – SAVANNAH BROADUS, SO. – PEPPERDINE
Broadus' strong performance last week helped elevate the Waves past two ranked teams in No. 5 Michigan and No. 35 Oklahoma State. She bested Michigan's No. 55 Lily Jones 6-0, 6-4, while defeating Oklahoma State's No. 107 Alana Wolfberg 6-1, 6-3. The sophomore improved to 8-0 in dual season and 21-2 on the year.

UCU WCC WOMEN'S TENNIS DOUBLES TEAM OF THE WEEK – JANICE TJEN AND SAVANNAH BROADUS – PEPPERDINE
The top doubles team in the country continued to shine as Tjen and Broadus won a pair of doubles matches, including one over the No. 2 ranked doubles team. The pair took both doubles points over two ranked opponents in No. 5 Michigan and  No. 35 Oklahoma State. Tjen and Broadus claimed the 7-5 victory over Michigan's #2 Brown/Miller, while taking down Oklahoma's Rojas/Wolfberg 6-4. The duo are now 8-1 this year in dual season and 23-2 overall.
