SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference has announced its Women’s Golf All-Academic Team for the 2023-24 season.
At the conclusion of each athletic season, the WCC selects an all-academic squad for each WCC-sponsored sport. To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, while also being a significant contributor to their team and in at least their second year at their school.
This year’s eight-member first team is comprised of WCC student-athletes who excelled both on the golf course and in the classroom. All of the first team honorees hold a grade point average above 3.6 while half of the team boasts a 4.0.
San Francisco took four of the eight available all-academic first team spots. Santa Clara was awarded two first team selections. Pepperdine and Gonzaga each garnered one all-academic first team honoree.
The Waves also earned the only WCC women's golf all-academic honorable mention nod.
